Quilt Size: 48” x 60”
Fabric Requirements:

A: 1-1/3 yards Little Rascal’s medium print novelty print (#626283)
B: 1-1/3 yards Little Rascal’s medium print novelty print (#111257)
C: 3/4 yards Little Rascal’s small print novelty print (#626284)
D: 1/4 yard each bright tone-on-tones: bright orange, golden yellow, red rose, lime green and rocket blue
E: 1-1/3 yards Monaco blue, includes border and binding
F: 3-1/8 yards backing, pieced horizontally 56” x 68” quilt backing

Cutting: All measurements and templates have 1/4” seam allowance included. Template Diagrams (A new window will open. Close window to return to this page.)
Fabric A: Fussy cut 30 trapezoids with designs centered.
Fabric B: Fussy cut 30 trapezoids with designs centered.
Fabric C: Cut into six 4” strips. From strips cut 54 triangles.
Fabrics D & F: Cut six 1” strips of each of the six colored fabrics.
Fabric F: Cut five 4-1/4” strips for border and six 2-1/2” strips for binding.

Directions:
1. Randomly stitch a colored strip to top of each trapezoid. Press seam to colored strip and trim excess even with sides of trapezoid.

2. Randomly stitch a colored strip to left side of each triangle. Press and trim excess even with the bottom and right side of triangle. Add a second colored strip to left side of the triangle, press and trim excess.
3. From pieced trapezoids with fabric A, cut six in half as shown: Diagram 3

4. Piece six strips, using the trapezoids with Fabric A, the half trapezoid pieces and triangles (see bottom row of quilt photo).
5. Piece six strips, using the trapezoids with fabric B trapezoids and triangles (see top row of quilt).
6. Stitch rows together, alternately. Trim right and left edges of quilt even.
7. Sew a border strip to top and bottom of quilt. Press and trim excess.
8. Make two border strips each with 1-1/2 lengths of border strips. Stitch to sides of quilt.
9. Quilt as desired. Bind with binding strips.
