The sample quilt is made as a large wall quilt but with a
few changes it can also be made as a bed quilt with the designs running vertically. This is not
suggested when doing it as a Block-a-Month because you
will need to use the full yardages of the background
pieces, not have them pre-cut for you. Instructions in
pattern. Want a smaller wall quilt? It
was suggested by Mary Ellen Sample (who did a beautiful
job in machine quilting the sample) that all the
templates and measurements could be reduced 75% of there
original size. This would make a quilt that is
49-1/2" x 63". Instructions in pattern.
