Pat Dailey of Oscoda, Michigan made this flannel rag quilt for her nephew Bill Dailey as a Christmas gift. Pat used the rag quilt method of leaving the seam open on one side of the quilt, clipping them and then washing the quilt for the rag effect. She adapted Lucy's "Uneven Plaid" pattern (McCall's Quilting Quick Quilts, October/November 1999 issue).
