"Here is a pic of the "Something's Fishy" quilt that I found in the new magazine. I loved making it. All I do is for charity so, some kid will be glad to have this quilt. I will give it to a church for quilting and they will sell it at their yearly fundraising sale."

Jackie found the "Something's Fishy" pattern in Quilts & Coordinates premier issue, Summer 2003.
This is a new magazine by the publishers of The Quilter Magazine.

"I bought the Watercolor Crucifix Kit from www.LucyFazely.com. Being a Christian, I liked the pattern a lot. I intended to make it for my own home but one day in April we got an invitation to my sister-in law's 70th birthday party, so I decided to make it for her. She loves it and was very impressed. I did not go to a class on Watercolor before, so I set it up on my neighbor's (whom I baby sit for) dining room table and just started by looking at the picture that came with it and by counting those 2 inch squares. I got it started and then had a little help from the lady who works at our quilt store here in New York. The border was my idea. I went to the quilt store and just looked around for something a little plain, so as not to take away from the cross. I really did not change anything just started putting down those 2 inch squares and letting it flow. I did use 2 inch fusible to mount it on before I sewed it. Made it real easy."
