ADC Charlene Schultz takes her sewing machine to whatever post the US Navy sends her to. Charlene purchased the fabrics for her version of "WCBN Log Cabin Crucifix" at a shop in Virginia Beach. The quilt was sewn entirely on board the ship.

"The quilt was donated to her mother's church and was raffled in November 2004, raising $400!" Charlene is a self-taught quilter and will be taking her first class in January 2005 once she's home. She's planning on making more Watercolor by Number quilts and we'll be adding pictures as she sends them to us.
